"Building an Adult 3D Sandbox"

Hi, I am Lasse,

when sampling adult games today I come across stunning visual quality and a rich culture of (lewd) storytelling. What I don't find however is true freedom of interaction during sex itself: Once we end up in bed together, games act like there's not much players could want to try beyond 3 standard positions. And characters usually display only a single emotion, attenuated in response to our input, more or less!

But what about tender touches, caressing, massaging, tickling, hair-stroking, grabbing, rubbing, pressing, squishing, or simply holding them tight, all those ways to explore and excite our partners' bodies? Touch IS communication, but games haven't even begun to tell stories in that language, they merely repeat the same old punchline or two, over and over.

Well, today we have physics-engines, inverse kinematics, procedural animation, A.I. models, stereo vision and 3D motion tracking: Through such technologies many new facets of physical sexuality have become ripe for real-time interactive simulation, playful erotic exploration, beyond the traditional limit to 1 degree of freedom: In or out.

Hentai Haiku is here to explore that field. Come aboard!

Poetic. I was wonder how the syllable count could be used in games of this nature, but seems I'm thinking of things too technically... really like this idea. Seems like a creative approach with each one too. Maybe not the most human, sensual, soft, subtle... but explorative and new.

A refreshing thing for a pretty stereotype-ridden genre otherwise!

pray continue!
